What people are saying

Just wanted to say that Ceri is a most helpful person to have by your side when you need to improve your online presence. She is proactive, curious, professional and supportive. Ceri understands that
communication is key if you want others to know what you do and allowing them to find out about the opportunities you offer in an accessible and friendly way.

Gabriela Todd, Senior Physiotherapist

We asked Ceri to produce a logo for our new ‘Shine Gloucester Shine’ Fund that supports churches partnering in mission across the city.

Her response was creative, intricate, eye-catching and memorable, fitting our purpose wonderfully.

Ceri has also designed many of our posters for our services with local caring communities. Each poster encapsulates simply and attractively what we share and celebrate together.

Rev. Bruce Clifford, Gloucester Churches Together

Ceri’s approach to online engagement work is pragmatic, creative and intuitive. Her skills span social media, website creation and digital animation, all considered through a lens of accessibility. I have always found Ceri a pleasure to work with; problem solving with ease and encouraging of others.

Jess Waterman, Head of Engagement, Barnwood Trust

We were struggling to think of a good logo that would encapsulate the meaning of Gloucester Inter Faith, as we’ve been running for a few years. We needed a logo that would highlight this and Ceri was recommended by one of the regular team. She came up with the great logo and everyone really likes the dark edges and wonderful shades. Thank you Ceri for your hard work on this.

Atique Miah, Chair of GIFT

I’ve had the very good fortune of working with Ceri a lot over the years. I can honestly say it’s been a total joy. Ceri is one of the most capable people I’ve ever worked with. I’ve seen her build websites, set up mailing lists, write newsletters, blog posts, social media content, and handle graphic design. She even creates animated videos!

Moreover, Ceri works with people in a way that’s incredibly nurturing and inclusive. She is a great listener, always full of creativity, ideas, and optimism, with the kind of energy that makes things happen.

If you would like to work with someone who’s deeply resourceful and one of the loveliest people you’ll ever come across, I can’t recommend Ceri highly enough!

Katie Elliot, Little Challenges

I have known Ceri for many years now, since working with her to develop a training animation to raise awareness on communication and inclusion.
I agree with everything that has been said in the other testimonials. Ceri is an incredibly insightful and intuitive person. She is amazingly sensitive to others and knows exactly what they are looking for, even before they do. Her work is very creative and detailed and Ceri is great at adding humour where possible.
It has been an incredible honour to know Ceri – to have worked with her and to have become her friend.
Dr Mel Adams, Speech & Language Therapist

Ceri has been involved with Barnwood Trust for over ten years now, first through the project she led to celebrate community reporting and creative writing, through ‘Write Up Your Street’; and later as a member of Barnwood Circle. Ceri brought a range of expertise, attention to detail and passion to communications work. She has previously developed accessible animations and, in recent years shared her knowledge and experience for the Communications Guidelines.

It was a real pleasure working with Ceri on the Communications Guidelines project for Barnwood Trust. Her thoughtful contributions were instrumental in shaping a resource that now helps staff communicate in ways that are inclusive, respectful, and consistent. Ceri brought not only a deep commitment to accessibility but also a wonderful sense of humour and genuine consideration for others. Her presence made the project both impactful and enjoyable, and her insights have left a lasting impression.

Thanks to her input, the Guidelines will continue to shape how we communicate as we grow and refine our approach to inclusive communication. Many people will benefit from the improvements she helped bring about, and her influence will be felt in the work we do moving forward.
